What is Free Length Tail Technology?
Traditional Wire Processing Equipment produces wires with equal total length on both ends. The JH-12 breaks this limitation by allowing the A-end (tinning end) to have an independently adjustable exposed conductor length – from 0.5mm to 9mm for stripping, and 0.5mm to 9mm for tinning.
This capability eliminates manual trimming and secondary operations. A control board that requires wires at 40mm, 50mm, and 60mm distances can be produced in one continuous cycle without manual sorting or custom ordering. As a complete automatic wire harness machine, the JH-12 delivers Wire Harness automation that integrates seamlessly into modern production lines.
Key Specifications
The JH-12 processes AWG#30 to AWG#20 electronic wire at 300-350 cycles per hour (wire length ≤200mm). It supports housing pitches of 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.25, 1.5, 2.0, 2.54, and 3.96mm, with 2P to 12P universal compatibility.
The machine integrates five operations in one cycle: wire feeding and cutting, stripping, A-end twisting and tinning (with free length adjustment), B-end terminal crimping, and B-end housing insertion. The JH-12 also functions as a precision Automatic Terminal Crimping Machine and an Automatic Housing Insertion Machine in one integrated platform.
Inspection and Quality Control
Standard inspections include wire presence, knot detection, terminal presence, housing presence, air pressure monitoring, and motor status. Optional CCD vision can verify wire sequence, strip quality, terminal appearance, and insertion depth. Optional pressure monitoring provides real-time crimp force analysis.

The JH-12 is built with Inovance servos, Hiwin guides, TBI screws, Airtac pneumatics, Schneider sensors, and Mean Well power supply. All component brands are published, and custom brand selection is supported.
